The MEININGER Hotel Genève Centre Charmilles is looking for Housekeeping Manager (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS

Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel departments
Checking rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
Monitor and order cleaning products stock
Examine the building/area so as to determine areas that need repairs and/or maintenance
Set up and maintenance procedure for Housekeeping and communications with other departments like reception and maintenance
Implement strategies to improve the functioning of the housekeeping department
Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
Update room status into hotel software SIHOT
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Performing cleaning tasks when staff don't show up for work or the team is shorthanded

YOUR PROFILE

Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
Excellent organizational and team management skills
Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
