MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Junior Controller who will serve as contact for Projects, Development and related CAPEX topics, Asset Management and Management reporting.

YOUR TASKS

  • Prepare budget and forecast and highlught overruns
  • Provide Management with ad-hoc analysis as basis for strategic descisions
  • Review business performance and Overhead cost to identify misallocations and overruns
  • Review balance sheets to identify misallocations and unusual movements
  • Preparing monthly and year-end audit reporting for Projects, Expansion and Development Teams
  • Preparing reports for landlorts and other external stakeholders
  • Preparing any adhoc reporting and analysis
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Provide guidance and procedures for Accounting and within Controlling team
  • Identifying cost control opportunities
  • Supporting in ERP set up project and regular improvements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Controlling or Finance
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Finance of international hotel chain
  • Shared Service and General Ledger Accounting experience is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel. Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Planning tools & Budget process (LucaNet required, Fairmas is a plus)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (AX Dynamics)
  • Analytical thinking, energetic, pragmatic but with the right attention to detail, hands-on, team worker
  • Able to structure and prioritize big workload whilst working under high pressure
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English and German, other European languages is a plus
